Join Maryland Smith's new series, Business Remastered. This four-course series is designed with the professional learner in mind and curated by our very own faculty. You will engage with new colleagues and build your skill sets for the future. Business Remastered continues with its fourth course in the series, Growing Your Leadership Footprint. Space is limited.

Course Four Overview:

In this short course, we explore what it means to be an effective leader, the role of adaptability, and how to reconcile that with authenticity. We provide an easy-to-use routine to leverage the power of day-to-day experiences in order to expand your behavioral repertoire. There will be time for discussion, reflection and practice.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Deconstruct what it means to be an effective leader
  • Examine the power of being authentically adaptable
  • Identify ways to adapt behaviors in a leadership situation
  • Identify hacks to continuously expand and adapt your behavioral repertoire

Structure: This is a hybrid course including self-paced modules and one virtual live session at the conclusion of the course.

Virtual Live Session: 3-4:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, October 15, 2020

Non-credit course policy: Non-credit courses and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) do not post to the University of Maryland transcript and do not count towards a student's academic record. Neither a grade nor credit is earned. Students do not receive a University ID card and will not be granted access to University facilities such as recreation, transportation, and campus events.
